*Deanne Volheim is an associate attorney (September 2001 – present) with practice in a 40+ attorney firm as civil litigator primarily involved in insurance defense, civil rights defense and worker’s compensation. The firm presently serves the casualty insurance industry as well as regional and national corporations through mediation, arbitration, and trial experience.

I grew up in a family of six children
with three older sisters and two younger brothers. I became a very good listener and learned the art of looking beyond the obvious and into the heart of a matter. People who express strong emotions about a specific issue often have underlying reasons that need to be addressed before a true resolution can occur.

The ISBA is a great organization for young attorneys who
wish to expand their network, develop relationships, or utilize some already tried and tested resources- like life insurance.

When I first began my search for life insurance, I was
overwhelmed by the number of choices and decisions that lay before me. Turning to the ISBA Insurance Agency was the best decision that I made.
