Jan Phifer has been in the employee benefits market since 1981 when she began working with Benefit Trust Life Insurance Company in South Bend. Over the years, Jan has worked in large, national insurance companies to small, locally owned agencies, helping her customers fill their insurance needs. Her experience has made her proficient in many aspects of the business including group health insurance and voluntary employee benefits.

In 2007, Agency Associates acquired Thompson Phifer and Jan began working as the Vice President of AAI's North Office. Her main focus is selling and servicing group health and voluntary employee benefits across northern Indiana.

Jan became very active after beginning in the industry, joining the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in 1988. In 2004 - 2005, Jan served as local president of the North Central Indiana chapter. In 2005, Jan was honored with the Herbert L. Cramer Agent of the Year award. Jan is happily married and she and her husband Conley are very active in their church.
