Angela Gorton is a Jr. Partner at Agency Associates, Inc (AAI). The agency currently is one of the States largest multi-line independent insurance agencies. She is Executive Vice President of the Association & Benefits Division. AAI provides employee benefits to over 1800 businesses and over 5000 individuals. AAI is consistently ranked as one of the largest independent, multi-line insurance agencies and employee benefit consulting firms in the State.

Angela came to AAI in 1999 in personal lines insurance and quickly made her way into the association benefits as the Association Coordinator. She took on the challenge to start the Association Department and it grew to one of the largest departments at AAI.

Under her direction the association department was merged into the life and health department, now known as the Association and Benefits Division. She directs more than half of the agencies sales and service team. Agency Associates recently opened an office in Northern Indiana that Angela manages as well. In addition to assisting the sales producers, she also manages the marketing of all the associations and deals directly with all of the leaders with those associations.

Her current list of affiliated associations include: Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana State Medical Association, Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Indiana State Nurses Association, Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors, Mid-America Equipment Retailers Association and the Indiana State Podiatric Association.

Angela has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She is a member of the national association, American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators (AIPAGIA) and is serving as Chair of the Steering Committee on the national council. She is also a member of the Indianapolis Association of Health Underwriters (IAHU). Angela is the proud mother of 3 children and the grandmother of 4, all residing in Indianapolis.
